There are 12 tenured/tenure-track IS faculty in the MET department, who have a substantial reputation for their scholarly output and disciplinary service and leadership. Current IS faculty members have published in premier journals within the business discipline, such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Management Science, Decision Sciences, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, among others. Consistent with the vision of expanding program offerings at LBS, the MET department is planning to offer an IS area of study within the proposed PhD in Business at LBS. LBS is currently in the process of receiving approval for this program, and it is expected that this approval will be received by Spring semester 2024, for a Fall 2025 start.

Dr. Sutirtha (Suti) Chatterjee from the IS faculty will be present at ICIS 2023 in Hyderabad, India. He can be contacted to answer any questions on the proposed program.”
